Kitchen island stolen from modular home

DEBERT – Six new modular homes were broken into over the weekend at Kent Homes.
RCMP Staff Sergeant Al Affleck said the only known theft was a kitchen island, which was removed from one of the units.
He said police believe the island was placed on an ATV and removed from the scene.
Two backyard sheds in the area were
also entered into over the weekend, Affleck said, but no thefts were reported in those instances.
